We were chilling at home when I received an email from an event tickets marketplace. The email basically saying that HAIM concert would be tonight and prompt me to check out ticket prices. It turned out that we were lucky (wait, let me rephrase – I was lucky because R doesn’t really listen to them), we managed to score 2 tickets for 50% off!
The concert was held in a small theatre about 45 minutes away from where we live, in Pomona. With a few clicks, we purchased the tickets, got ready, and left.
We arrived just as the show was starting. Fox Theatre Pomona was almost full, it was crowded with just the right amount of crowd. They kicked off the show with “Falling” – a classic, which got me dancing all the way. The three of them looked so passionate and the show was full of energy!
Clearly, I was fangirling and dancing the whole night, especially when they suddenly played the percussion during a song (I actually forgot what song it was!), and… did a choreographed dance during “Walking Away“. SO KEWL. I JUST CAN’T.
Overall it was a great show, they played all of my favourite songs, and it was the kind of concert that made you dance and sing all night long. What I love about the concert was the fact that all three members spent some time to talk to the audience, Danielle was the most chatty, but others also told us some stories, like how Este told us about her Coachella experience and Alana told us how they started to play music since their early age… before playing a cover song from Shania Twain called “That don’t impress me much“. I’ve heard this cover before but to hear it out loud and live was super fun!
Anyway, I’m looking forward to another concert at the end of the month. Can you guess what concert it will be? 🙂

I’m not sure, I have other concert wish list for this year, and since I have seen them in Austin City Limits, I might skip it this time. But let’s see if I could score last minute deals 😉
Justin Timberlake! Nanti cerita yaa di sini konsernya seperti apa. Pasti seruu. Antara nyesel dan agak nyesel ga jadi beli tiketnya. Tahun ini nampaknya libur dulu nonton konser2, dilanjut tahun depan, mudah2an 😀
