During our earlier days of marriage, I discovered a quirk that my husband has, that is, the way he makes our bed! I think he is obsessed with making the bed and at first, I found it hard to understand this particular behaviour of his. I mean it’s not like I never make the bed, but he wants the bed to be made in a particular way.
But as time goes by, I learned how to make the bed like he does, and now he never complains when I make it. And then there’s also this quirk of mine that I just discovered! I found it annoying when he puts the toilet paper facing up because I want it to be put facing down. Hahahaha. Can you picture what I mean? 😛
Anyway, both of us had to learn about how each of us like certain things to be done. I guess this is what being married means. We learn and we compromise. We adjust to each other while keeping each other’s company. I wonder why they never show things like these in rom-com movies that I grew up watching? All they portray was the romantic proposal, the grand honeymoon, and of course the serendipitous meeting to start off with!
Don’t get me wrong, I love being married especially to R. Although we lack the grand romance like those of Hollywood rom-coms have, we have our everyday romance, the little things, that make our lives more pleasant. Like this one time where he brought home my favorite doughnuts from work. Or, obviously, the moment where I finally made the bed right! Hahahaha. I like to consider those moments as our everyday romance, and hopefully, we can keep them until we grow wrinkles ❤️.

Compromise! ini nih yg suami aku bilang terus2an hahaha soalnya aku kan anak tunggal selalu apa2 terpenuhi dari kecil jadi egois 😝 hidup bersama seseorang itu bener2 bikin aku belajar buat lapang dada 😂 aku skrg enjoy every little things karena hal2 itu yg bisa selalu diingat ketika lg kesel sama pasangan haha
