To me, 2016 was full of mixed emotions. In some parts it was amazing, but in contrary it also brings me down to the point where I could not even believe. There were so many turmoils happened in my life until when I tried to look back to reflect on 2016… I somehow lost my memory.
Really, I could not recall clearly what happened each months, perhaps simply because some months were so hard to be went through. But anyway, despite what had happened, I’m still thankful as I am alive, well and breathing, surrounded by my loved ones. They say what does not kill you makes you stronger, right? 🙂

I turned 30 last Sunday, and it was the best birthday I’ve had in several years! So, here’s the story…
For as long as I can remember, my birthday eve was always spent at my aunt’s house with my extended family (except the one year I spent in England), and this year was no different. When the clock stroke midnight, everybody wished each other Merry Christmas, and a happy birthday to me. We then sang happy birthday and I blew my candles. We ate some cake, spent some more time, until finally it was time to go home.

This week I had the chance to watch Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids – a Netflix original movie on JT’s last show in Las Vegas during his recent world tour.
Boy… I went crazy watching it! I was in awe, I cried, and found myself dancing even though I only watched it through my 13″ laptop screen.

It was Sunday, the 11th of September. R, my mum, my brother and I were in Hong Kong and it was our last night there.
The weather was very humid, we were super tired from walking all day, all I wanted was to just have a shower and sleep. But still I thought I could not leave Hong Kong without seeing the Symphony of Lights, right?
