My bridesmaid is visiting from Indonesia and I got to have a mini-holiday by staying in West LA for 5 days with her. It was fun! In case you are wondering, I’m not actually based in Los Angeles. Instead, I’m about 45 minutes away, in the suburbs area 🙂 Being the city girl that I am, I always love going to LA because I got to see many kinds of people, a contrast from my simple suburban life.
My love for the beach started when I lived in Bournemouth. It was a small beach town and although I didn’t live by the beach, the beach is only a mere 15 minutes away from where I lived. Although it was cold at most times, I used to go to the beach after class or after I got off from work, just to enjoy the atmosphere while waiting for sunset.
Hey, it’s been over 100 days since I arrived here in the US. I guess it’s true what they say, time flies when you are having fun 🙂
Not sure if anyone is really interested but here’s what have happened so far:
Since I’m currently being a full-time housewife, I’d like to keep myself busy in the kitchen. Being in the early days of our marriage, our living premises is not yet ideal but we try to make do with what we have. Meaning, I can’t turn into Martha Stewart with her glossy state-of-the-art kitchen yet :P.
I’ve lost my dad, both of my grandpas and one of my grandmas before I turned 21. So I really thought that I am used to losing someone. I was wrong. I can never get used to the feeling of losing someone that you care about.
Earlier this month R surprised me by saying that he already bought us tickets to Passion Pit’s concert in The Observatory OC! The concert finally happened last night and here’s how it went…
I am a big fan of Justin Timberlake. Not only because his looks and personality but I actually was a fan of NSYNC and have been following his solo career too.
